Yes, all that. You should know there is a novel about Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru -- it was published in the early 19th century. Before that, Jiraiya was generally remembered as a shapeshifting ninja who could turn into a toad, but in that book the sannin already have some of the characteristics and skills you've seen on Naruto. This does include summoning and riding a toad for Jiraiya. Even slug jutsu is already there.
